Columbia, SC- This weekend the USC Men's Club soccer team beat UNC Pembroke 4-0 at the Bluff Rd. Fields for their opening game. The starting lineup consisted of all returners with the full senior back-line of Justis Bradley, Aron Klug, Andrew Davis, and Caleb McPherson.

Chip Tremarelli opened the scoring up after he was played through at 21'. Brandon Parr added another with a tricky finish after the ball in from Davis took an odd bounce. Tremarelli added another to his tally before Francisco Paramo classily closed up shop with the final goal at 65'.

All of the new players were given a chance in the game and Zach Engel should feel unlucky to not have put one in on his debut after he saw his shot from just outside of the box barely sail over the crossbar.

Ben Risko took home the clean sheet after a number of good saves.

The Gamecocks host The College of Charleston this Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Bluff Rd. Fields in their second game of the season.
